Diesel / Motor Coach Mechanic Motor Coach/Diesel Mechanic (Oklahoma City) Tired of your boring job? No feeling of accomplishment? Make a change and join our team! We are actively seeking an organized and motivated individual to run our maintenance facility with the following skills: Strong communication, troubleshooting, electrical, air conditioning, pneumatic, brake, chassis, axle/wheel end, steering, as well as paperwork and computer skills. Also understanding at minimum, basic engine operations and components. there will be occasionally be welding and fabrication required. We offer a variety of daily projects and repairs that will guarantee to challenge your skills, and maintain a non-repetitious and diverse working environment! Individual will maintain a fleet of 8 to 10 motor coaches. Individual will review Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports, track scheduled service and maintenance intervals, as well as routine unscheduled inspections, and plan/schedule work accordingly. Must have own hand and air tools. Up to and including 3/4 drive is preferred/needed. Knowledge of DDL and ABS diagnostic programs is a plus. Must have a valid CDL and be able to obtain a Class B DCL with passenger endorsement, as well as A/C certification. The company will be willing to assist in obtaining CDL. 5 years of mechanical background experience is a plus, but training will be considered for the right individual having 2 or more years experience. Must be accurate and efficient in diagnosing and making repairs. Individual will be responsible for ordering parts for repairs and reorder as necessary for maintaining proper parts inventory. Individual will carry company phone and be available in the event of an emergency after hours situation. Must be able to pass pre employment physical and drug screen test as well as random drug screen testing. Series 60 Detroit Diesel, Cummins ISC300, Allison Transmissions Salary will be negotiable based upon knowledge and experience Hours: Mon-Fri (8am-5pm) with possible night and weekend work in emergencies.
