Engineer Position: Working as an Engineer for Cougar Tool Inc. a premier oilfield service company specializing in downhole drilling tools. You will be required to troubleshoot tools, review specifications and procedures to find where cost reductions and improvements to product design, performance and reliability can be made. You will provide technical support to our sales team and service technicians. Education: Preferably a degree in Mechanical Engineering, although someone with several years industry specific experience would also be considered. Experience/Skills/Training: 1. A minimum of 5 years in the design of downhole drilling tools 2. A good working knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modeling applications, Inventor preferred but others considered. 3. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. 4. A good level of knowledge for current API and ANSI standards. 5. A working knowledge of machine design. 6.
