Utility Locate Technician: Immediate Openings! Our Utility Locate Technicians enjoy a wide array of benefits. Our “mobile office" approach to work means that you will never have the same day twice. Our Locators work from a company vehicle utilizing our state of the art ticket and claims management systems to ensure clear and complete markout services for the excavator or property owner. This position requires you to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and use a company provided laptop to document and close all tickets. Our 48 hour turn around time on all “locates" means we generally work the day after holidays and some weekends (as needed). These are daytime, full time positions and overtime may be required. Qualified candidates must possess the following in order to be considered for these positions: • Recent experience working outside. Applicants without prior outdoor experience will not be considered • Computer Proficiency is essential • HS Diploma or GED • Clean Driving Record for last 3 years • No felony convictions in last 7 years • Ability to pass both state and federal background checks; including MVR • Previous experience in an environment that required protective clothing • No previous terminations from any job Paid training is provided for qualified candidates. The starting pay is $11.50 per hour and USIC provides excellent benefits, which start after 90 calendar days. Benefits include, but are not limited to: medical, prescription and dental coverage, 401K and paid holidays.
